High Performance 5 Blades Steel Body PDC Drill Bit for Oil Well Drilling
The core component is polycrystalline diamond composite sheet - sintering diamond micro powder and hard alloy substrate together under high temperature and high pressure, which has both the ultra-high hardness of diamond and the toughness of hard alloy, like installing "diamond claws" on drill bits.
The drill bit itself is integrated and has no moving parts. It mainly consists of a joint, drill body, cutting teeth, nozzle, chip groove, and retaining teeth.
Its rock breaking principle is similar to a "scraper" - under the action of drilling pressure and torque, diamond cutting teeth penetrate the formation, cutting and scraping off the rock like a knife cutting butter, with much higher efficiency than traditional roller bits. The rock fragments are in large chunks and are carried out of the well by mud.
Fast drilling speed: Efficiency is at least 60% higher than ordinary alloy drill bits
Long lifespan: The service life can reach 10-30 times that of ordinary alloy drill bits

PDC drill bits are most suitable for soft to medium hard formations (drillability levels of about 1-9), and are not suitable for larger gravel layers and extremely hard formations. In addition, it has weaknesses such as poor thermal stability and strong brittleness, and cannot withstand large impact loads.
